What actually goes on sale in this category, what almost never does, and whether to buy now or wait — with sources, not guesses. Verified deals will be posted here when they go live in November.
Swaddle & Stroll is reader-supported. When you buy through links on this page we may earn an affiliate commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes our picks. How this works.
Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30. This page exists now, in September, because the useful questions about baby gear deals are the ones you need answered before the sale: which categories actually discount, which brands hold their prices no matter what, and whether the thing you need is safe to wait on. Below is our honest read of the history, with the sources we used, followed by buy-now-or-wait guidance per product class and the site's current top picks with their live prices.
What this page is not: a list of deals. As of today there are none to list, and we will not invent a percentage or a “predicted price.” When verified deals go live in November, they will be posted in the section marked Live deals below, with the date we checked them. Every price elsewhere on this page comes from Amazon on the day you read it, stamped with the date, or shows “check price” if it could not be verified.
We went looking for what actually happened in past Black Friday windows rather than what retailers promised. Here is what the sources support, brand by brand and class by class.
UPPAbaby sets its pricing nationwide and, as one of its largest specialty retailers puts it, “typically does not allow retailers to offer discounts on their products,” with exceptions “in rare cases like when a model or color is being discontinued.” That is the pattern its Black Friday sales have followed: in 2023 the promotion was 20 percent off a single colorway (Gregory) of the Vista, Cruz, Mesa Max and Knox from November 23 to 28, and in 2024 the sale was again 20 percent off select products, including the Vista V3, Cruz V2 and Minu V2. So if you want an UPPAbaby and you are flexible on color, the Black Friday window has historically been the one moment to buy — but it has been one colorway or a short list, not the whole line.
Nuna is stricter still. Coupon trackers describe the brand as holding “their prices very tightly,” with sales surfacing only through authorized department-store retailers. The discounts on record came through Nordstrom, and the same source calls the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July and August “the best time of year to shop Nuna,” noting that in some years — 2021, because of supply issues — there were few Nuna Black Friday deals at all. Our take: do not wait for Black Friday specifically to buy a Nuna seat or stroller, and treat any deal you do find as a bonus.
Graco, Chicco, Evenflo and Safety 1st seats show up in Black Friday deal lists every year; a November 25, 2025 roundup, for example, listed the Graco Extend2Fit convertible and the Graco Modes Pramette travel system among its featured baby deals. These discounts come through the retailers — Amazon, Target, Walmart — and they move around, so we track them rather than predict them. One honest caution from a car-seat specialist site, updated July 2026: prices on many car seats “have increased in the last year, as much as 5-10%,” and “sales with big discounts have been rare in recent months.” A Black Friday price can be a return to last year's normal rather than a true bargain, which is why the live price on each card below shows the list price and the percentage off only when Amazon reports one.
This is the category where waiting has paid off. In the 2025 Black Friday window, Nanit ran 30 percent off sitewide and called it its best deal ever; Owlet offered $100 off the Dream Sock starting November 20; Newton Baby ran 25 percent off mattresses and bassinets; and Happiest Baby discounted the SNOO by 30 percent. Direct-to-consumer brands that hold full price all year tend to use this window for their one real sale — Mockingbird, for instance, called its November 25 to December 1 promotion “their only sale of the year.” If a smart monitor or a smart bassinet is on your list and you do not need it before December, November has historically been the time.
We could not find a sourced, brand-level Black Friday history for the dedicated-screen monitor brands (Infant Optics, VTech, HelloBaby) or for the small daily-use items — swaddles, sleep sacks, wraps, bags. That is not the same as “they never discount”; Amazon runs short deals on these all year, and we see the prices move in our own daily data. It means we will not tell you a November price is coming. For a $35 swaddle the dollars at stake are small either way: buy it when it is needed.
We do not have a sourced Black Friday history for the furniture brands we cover (DaVinci, Babyletto, Delta Children, Storkcraft), and we are not going to guess. Furniture is heavy to ship and slow to restock, so if a nursery needs to be ready before a due date, that deadline should decide the purchase, not the calendar.
Status as of our last update: no verified Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals yet. It is September. Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday Week dates; in 2025 the event ran November 20 through December 1. Amazon also has not confirmed whether its October Prime Big Deal Days sale returns in 2026 — it ran October 7 and 8 last year — so we are not assuming it will. When we can verify a deal on a product we cover, it will appear in this section with the date we checked it. Until then, the table and cards below show today's live prices, and the list price and percentage off appear on a card only when Amazon reports a discount.
These are the winners from our category roundups — the seats, strollers, crib, monitors and carrier we would buy at full price, which is the only sensible starting point for a deal page. Each card shows the price Amazon reported on the date stamped under the button. If a pick shows a struck-through list price, that is Amazon's own reported discount, not ours. If it shows “check price,” we could not verify a price today and will not guess one. The full reasoning for each pick lives in its roundup: travel systems, all-in-one car seats, infant car seats, strollers, cribs, baby monitors and carriers.
